Lozenets

Location: Lozenets is located right between Kiten and Tsarevo, 60 kilometers south of Burgas. During the last years, this paradise on earth has become a preferable place for lots of people, who want to escape the clamor and the crowded commercial resorts. A long and picturesque beach is stretched up to Lozenets, while in the vicinity of Lozenets there are two campsites. The holiday village Lozenets is located in the southern part of the Black Sea coast, where the sunny days are more than the days of the year. The lovely fish village Lozenets is located 60 kilometers away from Burgas. You can reach the village by car using the international motorway E87, by bus from Burgas or by sea from the nearby harbor of Tsarevo. The village was founded in 1924. The villa area of Lozenets in located 10 kilometers away from the International Youth center in Primorsko and in very close proximity to the unique reserve at the mouth of Ropotamo River. The Duni holiday resort is located not far away from here. The place is cozy and pleasant for family holiday.

History: According to the locals, the village was founded 80 years ago by romanticists from the nearby village of Velika, which doesn’t have a sea outlet. The people came here because of the sea waves, sea-gulls and the sea breeze. At the beginning, the village was named after the popular grape sort ‘Emberli’, while later it was renamed to Lozenets because of the many vineyards located around the village. Today, Lozenets is developing rapidly and it forms itself as an attractive sea resort. This is contributed to the fact, that many famous people from Bulgaria – artists, musicians and politicians have villas in the village and spend the most of the summer holidays there.

Sports and entertainments: Your holiday in Lozenets can turn into a wonderful experience. There is a surf school in the northern part of the beach, where you can have the great opportunity to master the waves with a surfboard or kite. You can feel like a real sea wolf, sailing a yacht in open seas.
